Christopher Prien-CEO/Portfolio Manager:

Mr. Prien started his career in the financial services industy in 1990 and has held Vice President positions with Invesco, Thornburg Investment Management, New York Life, BBVA (PNC) Wealth Solutions. Mr Prien enjoyes spending time golfing, fishing, camping, watching the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees. Mr. Prien has been married to his wife Trish for 34 years. They have two grown children, Adrian & Brianna, Son in law, Daniel, Grandaughter Ellie, Grandson Daniel Jerimiah (Champ) and one on the way James. Mr. Prien is very active at church volunteering for the Men's Ministry and serves on the safety team. Mr. Prien aslo sits on the corporate board for the YMCA of New Mexico. 

Gifford Davis, CIMA: CIO/Portfolio Manager

Mr. Davis started in the financial services industy in 1991 ad became a portfolio manaager in 1998. He has held Vice President positions with wells Fargo, Bank of America and US Bank. Mr Davis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University and holds a Cerfified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) Designation. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his famiy, traveling, participating in outdoor acvities and going to church. Mr Davis sits on the Board for the Catholic Foundation. 

 

Diana (Borroel) Atha, ChFC, CLU, LUTCF

Diana is a native New Mexican. She is married to Richard Atha.  She has a son, Jason, and daughter-in-law, Julie who live in California.  Diana comes from a family of 11 children.  She worked in farm labor in her youth and worked as an assistant for The Dean of Student Activities and Admissions at Shasta College in California and the District Attorney’s Office of Tehama County.

Diana started her career in the financial services business in 1984 with New York Life Insurance Company.  She retired from New York Life in 2005.   From 2005 to 2008 she was the President and CEO of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where she earned the Accredited Chamber Executive designation.  After 2008, Diana became an Independent Financial Professional.

Diana earned many awards and recognition:  MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table); General Agents and Managers Yearling Award; National Sales Award; National Quality Award; Centurion Award, Pro-Active National Award; Council Level Achievement; Professional of the Month and selected one of 14 professionals from around the United States to Serve on the Agents’ Advisory Council at the Home Office in New York.

Diana has served on numerous Committees and Board and received the “Volunteer of the Year” award.  She has been a member of Toastmasters International; DWI Memorial Foundation; March of Dimes; Women’s Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence; Women in Philanthropy; Rotary and New Mexico’s Governor’s Business Advisory Council.  She now supports Cuidando los Ninos.

Diana is a member of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, The Santa Fe Estate Planning Council and NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

In her free time, Diana likes to travel, golf, read and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

 

RIchard Atha, RICP

Mr. Atha completed his undergraduate degree in general engineering at the United States
Military Academy, West Point, New York, and his earned a graduate degree at The University of Texas at El Paso, with a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Finance.
Mr. Atha commenced his financial services career in 1992 as an insurance agent and registered representative.

Over the years Mr. Atha expanded his professional credentials with association
board membership and participation in the National Association of Insurance and Financial
Advisors, Society of Financial Service Professionals, and Financial Planning Association. Mr.
Atha most recently expanded his professional credentials with the designation of Retirement
Income Certified Professional (RICP). This designation qualifies Mr. Atha as a specialist in the multiple facets of estate preservation, lifetime income, health-related decisions and tax-issues. Teaming with legal and accounting professionals, wealth management services incorporate a comprehensive look at investment positioning, tax planning, retirement planning, business continuation, and legacy planning. Clients can focus on life goals and objectives, with clear understanding behind their financial decisions.
